Known Powers:
Dark Hadou: Mn, Akuma has mastered the art of Chi Manipulation for the express purpose of murder and combat. He does not utilize his Chi for benign purposes, eschewing that philosophy in exchange for a more pure pursuit of his martial art's true legacy. However, Akuma only rarely uses his powers at their full level (He usually will use his abilities at a -1cs or 2cs penalty as a matter of course). In his search for a warrior truly worthy of his power, Akuma will many times face adversaries using his abilities at only a fraction of their true levels, and encourage his foes to embrace their powers at their darkest and most brutal potentials. In so doing, Akuma's hope is that an adversary will reach a comparable level to himself and a true battle can be waged. He has performed the following power stunts:
-Gou Hadou: Manifestation of chi in the form of a 'fireball' that does Mn Energy ignoring body armor (not force fields).
-Tatsumaki Zankuu Kyaku: Akuma uses his Chi ability to defy gravity to deliver a series of 3 spinning kicks in the air accentuated by an electrical chi discharge. Akuma can use this ability to strike opponents in adjacent areas as well as resolve 3 seperate 'hits' with one Fighting FEAT roll. If successful, Akuma does Ex damage 3 times, resolved on the energy column.
-Gou Shoryu: Akuma's chi is channeled into his fist allowing him to strike an opponent for Mn Blunt or Energy damage. Akuma is +1cs to hit an airborne or leaping opponent using this technique.
-Charge: Akuma can raise any stat (except Fighting) by +1cs for 1-10 rounds after a 1 round. charge. In rare instances, Akuma can channel this power solely for Strength for a duration of 5 rounds. Akuma is then capable of a single strike dealing Sh-X damage, as displayed when he cracked Ayers Rock in half.
-Messatsu Gou Hado: An exceptionally powerful version of the Gou Hadou that requires Akuma to charge his attack for 2 rounds. After charging the attack, Akuma can unleash a wave of Chi Force that does Un damage ignoring body armor. Akuma is only capable of performing this attack once per day.
-Tenma Gou Zankuu: An improved version of the Tatsumaki Zankuu Kyaku that delivers an innumerable series of spinning kicks in the air. Akuma must charge this attack for 2 rounds to execute. Unlike the traditional version, this attack can only be executed against opponents in the same area. If successful, Akuma does In Energy 4 times. Akuma is only capable of performing this attack once per day.
-Misogi: A leap is made into the air and Akuma comes down on his foe with a slashing chop. After making a successful Fighting FEAT, Akuma does Sh-X Edge ignoring body armor (but not force fields). This attack takes one round to charge but if it misses, Akuma's opponent need not make a Fighting FEAT to successfully hit with their next attack, additionally Akuma may not act in a round after this attack missed as he is left vulnerable. He may only preform this attack once a day.
-Messatsu Gou Shoryuu: A series of repeated Gou Shoryu attacks, Akuma must charge this attack for 2 rounds. By chaneling his chi into his fist, Akuma may strike his opponent for Un Energy damage, using a Fighting FEAT to hit. Akuma is only capable of performing this attack once per day.
-Shun Goku Satsu: The ultimate expression of the Dark Hadou's potential. Akuma is able to drain a victim of their life force after a 3 round charge. Once the charge is complete, Akuma must successfully grapple his opponent, and upon doing so may inflict Sh-X damage, ignoring body armor (but not force fields). This ability also drains Akuma of any accumulated Karma. Akuma will only utilize this ability against foes he deems to either be his equal, or too far beneath his skill to be of notice. If confronted with an adversary Akuma deems to have the potential to become a worthy foe at a later date, Akuma would prefer that he let them live that one day they may prove to be a true challenge.
Teleportation: Ex ability and range, he can use teleportation in conjunction with any standard fighting attack, giving his opponent a -1cs penalty on attempts to evade.
Immortality: While not confirmed, Akuma seems to be impervious to death. Even when caught inside of an island volcano that sunk into the sea, Akuma always seems to return. Many are of the belief that his mastery of the Dark Hadou has removed him utterly from the mortal coil, and even speculate that his search for a worthy opponent is truly a search for one that can find a way to finally kill him.
